Welcome to Pingüi's caja. This is a place where you can read what runs through my brain.
"La verdad es que todos tenemos algo que mantenemos oculto, pero secretamente queremos que todo el mundo lo sepa."This blog could contain anything from politics, to newsworthy stories, to personal anecdotes.
Do statements like "You're the only person who can be you." and "..no one can live your life but you." provide any real insight into the nature of life, as opposed to some trivial insight as to the possessive second person pronoun 'your' works? Or is it people talking without giving a moments thought to what they meant when they say it?
ReplyDeleteI thought through every word I typed, as I always do. To me, "living your life" is about being yourself and not caving to peer influences. It's all about being who you truly want to be, who you truly are and not who society wants you to be. You can consider yourself "English-speaking and lower-middle class" or you can think of yourself as "just you." What I mean when I write about that is to define yourself based on your own terms and not based on society's terms.
